Gaming, Video/Audio Editing, Programming, Graphic design. This does it all. Built this one to replace

CASE: Lian Li O11D XL-W Excellent case, lots of features, no issues with manufacturing. Looks Beautiful.

CPU: The Ryzen 9 3900X is a beast. So far it appears that I lost the silicon lottery with my chip as the IMC cannot get my RAM to 3600. One last test to do to confirm this. Then I will start the overclocking on this chip.

CPU Cooler: Corsair's H150i Pro is a great AIO. I have not had any issues with the two I have now owned. Never heard the pump and the LEDs work great.

Motherboard: I have never had an issue with an Asus Motherboard. The Asus Rog Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) was pricey, but worth it. A whole lot of features and plenty of USB ports. Wi-Fi 6 was a plus.

Hard drives(SSD's and HDD's): I went with a Corsair MP510 for a boot drive instead of a Samsung 960 EVO or 970 EVO Plus as the TBW at 800 is over twice the Samsung drives of 300.

The Sabrent Rocket 4.0 is reports being faster then the Corsair MP600 and has one of the best heat sinks out there.

WD Black 7200 HDD. Fast for an HDD and comes with a 5 year warranty.

Picked up the WD Red on sale during Cyber Monday. Lots of space for storage.

GPU: The Asus Rog Strix RX 5700XT is awesome, and chonky AF. Powerful and no issues with gaming and such so far.

RAM: The RAM looks great. Can't have too much RAM.

(Update: RAM is now at 3533 CL 16-16-16-16-32-48)

Issues: 1) At first I was using the PCI-E Riser kit from Lian Li along with a Link-Up Riser cable that they claimed was PCI-E 4.0 Verified. This caused several issues. A) The AMD Radeon software didn't recognize the GPU. B) Once I managed to get the drivers installed they proceeded to crash and recover every 5 minutes or so. Then proceeded to BSDO and even completely froze the system twice.

2) The Aura Sync in Asus Armory Crate does not seem to like the 5700XT much. When setting sync to anything other than off or static, the 5700XT will not light up.

Fixes: 1) Removed the riser cable and the driver issues vanished. 2) Installed Aura Sync standalone. This allows the RGB for the motherboard, GPU and Case to sync correctly but loses some of the RGB effects from Armory Crate.

Current Benchmarks: 3150 in Cinebench R15 with 174.75 FPS 10012 in Time Spy

Later: Going to add two more monitors and a mount later on. If I actually go though with the open loop I have planned, I will add those parts into the list.

Also going to be ordering custom cables soon. The standard ones are a hassle, and take up more space than necessary. And custom white cables would look better in this case.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Great AIO. I must have been lucky twice with these as I have never heard the pump running even at max speed. Keep my system nice and cool.

Thermal Compound

Best Thermal Paste EVER!

Wonderful motherboard. Did not have the chipset fan cover. Asus Support was great and sent out the chipset fan cover. I received it in 3 days after opening the case.

This kit is excessive but worth it. The RGB is gorgeous and no memory errors so far.

Great M.2 SSD with 800 TBW life span

WD Red NAS drive for mass storage of movies, anime, music ect. Purchased on sale on Black Friday.

7200 RPM HDD with a 5 year warrenty.

Video Card

Great GPU. Fast, Powerful and runs cool as well. No coil whine, and I have not heard the fans yet even if I can see the spinning.

Absolute monster of a case. So much space. And its beautiful and well built.

Power Supply

Seasonic 80+ Titanium, except no substitutes.

Case Fan

About the same specs as the new Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fans. Absolutely quite at max RPM.

Great monitor. Wonderful colors. SUPER Bright at stock settings. Sadly there is back-light bleed, but I can live with that.

Got this on sale for Cyber Monday. The box and manual say this is 1000w not 900w list PC Part Picker, Amazon and Newegg say.

Very useful for cable management with the FAN cables.

Great way to control and connect fans and Corsair LED Strips.

Necessary for the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic case and Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi motherboard. The motherboard only has one usb 3.0 header and the case needs two.

Love Roccat Mice and Keyboards. This mouse works perfectly and looks great doing so.

Awesome keyboard, and the colors and build match the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL White case.

Nice build. We have very similar setups. I also couldn't get aura working on gpu. And my trident z 3600 wasn't running at 3600 either. I just posted my build so should be up soon. JDs pure amd

I downloaded Aura Sync and used it instead of Armory Crate for the RGB. This solved the issues with the lighting on the GPU but Armory Crate does have some effects Aura Sync does not.
