Description

Named partially due to the motherboard branding, partially due to the Transformers connotation (Fortress Maximus), and partially due to my online handle - which itself has a Transformers connotation.

This system was my previous gaming PC. It may not be a benchmark darling, with a 6xxxK i7, DDR4, and a 980 Ti, but it was a fantastic overclocker that ran cool and quiet.

The case was the real highlight of this build. The 280mm radiator fit like a glove, with room for two additional fans if I want to run a push/pull configuration. I've never worked with such a delight of a case, and NZXT's build quality, expandability and overall thoughtfulness is very commendable. It's obvious that this case was built for people who like to build systems BY people who like to build systems.

Overclocking this thing was just brilliant. Even at 4.6GHz, the temperatures under load are the kind I saw in the build before it (a cramped mini ITX build with air cooling) on idle.

You can get the logo from BigBadToyStore here: Autobot and Decepticon.

The other smaller stickers and Combiner Wars logo underneath the NZXT logo on the power supply shroud can be found on this Combiner Wars sticker sheet. The only place I've found someone still selling it by itself is in the UK, though.

All three sticker sheets I received by purchasing various Transformer figures from Robot Kingdom.
