Mainly using this for gaming + productivity. Built for $1800 in Canada using the 3600 and the msi 5700XT evoke.

Part Reviews

Great processor, use it for gaming at 1080p ultra 144hz. Nothing else I can say other than its a great value cpu.

Great wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity. Haven't done ant OC's so wouldn't know about performance. BIOS is a little bit on the weak side but does the job.

Great looking ram and works as expected.

Very fast m.2. No problems yet.

Video Card

Tends to run a little hot but other than that its a great card!

Case fans are a little too loud when gaming and had a slightly defective glass side panel.

How are the temps on the Evoke OC? Are they really as bad as people say?

Unfortunately they are. Even in my build with a ton of airflow I was reaching 100°C junction temps while gaming. Basically has the fans going at least 80% anytime I'm in game

Hm, mine never go pass 90 degrees while gaming at full load..

I replaced thermal paste and pads on the chip side of my gpu board just last night (thermal grizzly minus pad 8 thermal pads, and kryonaut thermal paste). I went from 103C junction temps on time spy, down to <80C. I also added 1mm thick plastic washers under the springs of the 4 screws on reassembly. If you do this modification be careful not to unevenly/excessively tighten the spring screws, but I bet this will do a lot to ensure longevity of my card and has removed thermal throttling concerns. For the pads I needed just over half of a 120x20x2.0mm size.
