So this has been almost a year since i built my very first PC, see here, and since then ive done some major upgrades to this.
It may have not been mentioned in the previeous build but i bought and added another 1x16GB RAM stick when it came out on amazon being probbaly one of the cheapest in months if not a year so it was just dumb not to buy it.
So i bought 2 more hard drives and so far they are doing great since both came used and work perfect unlike when i first built my PC and both the RAM and HHD were dead. :DD oh and that Hard Drive was NEW from PC world.. so yeah my luck has been bad and good for the past year.. but oh well :D
So this has also been a bad story but so far the 1060 6GB is serving me well. I can play almost anything at its highest settings at 1080p and switching over to my current 3 monitor setup hansn't changed much if at all for performance. Only problem is the person i bought it from USED didnt dust it or clean it so its still somewhat dusty and i intend to clean in very soon.
Found someone on ebay selling these as individual bids. So i contacted them and asked if they could do £120 (£15 shipping was added after) and he happily agreed. End of that story
Keyboard and mouse:
So i thought my older used mouse, the Razer one, was dying so i just bought this as it was cheap and i wanted a more silent keyboard that wasnt mechanical and didnt cost too much. Very happy with it so far and love the wrist rest since it dosnet put any strain on typing or gaming as much now. Also funny enought the price seems to be going back up so im glad i got it when i did
Just wanted something bigger
Buying something on Fathers Day and got this as something extra for myself since i was paying for next day postage
Just cables. Had to re-wire my hard drives because i thought they were the reason i wasnt able to boot straight into the OS for a few weeks. Had to go into the BIOS and restart my PC since it didnt show my drives. But after the re-wire i just made sure things were plugged in properly and not bent. So far that has seemingly fixed it.
Currently in my draw since the cable cant reach my PC and it was kinda overkill to put one mouse pad ontop of another...
Made in china so the manufacturing was as you might expect. But overall it works and thats really what i want. Yes its cheap and i should have spent more if i wanted something decent but this was a budget PC build after all :DD
Acer 27" monitor:
Looking to sell or perhaps use again if i get 2-3 27" monitors or make another build. So its sat on my floor until i find a place to put it or just sell it.
