Description

This machine was designed to handle any workload (multi-tasking, editing, gaming) while staying as quiet as possible.

It is connected to three screens: a 27'' curved display and two vertical 24''. It can run any 2018 game on ultra @ 144FPS with HDR on the main display, while using the other two displays for multiple other applications, all while staying under 20 dB and without overheating. It can do all of this without overclocking and without any thermal issues even on warm days.

Nice build, I'd recommend getting a fan hub and connecting all the case fans to it behind the motherboard/case or on the bottom near the PSU as this would help clean up those cables.

That's a good tip. Though I prefer to make use of the 5 fan headers on the motherboard for more control. Coupled with the 8 temperature sensors the gigabyte software throttles each fan individually based on the temperature in that region :)

hi nice build good component but i would have place a noctua (the blue one because he is useless) at the rear instead of the 90 mm very noisy and improve cable management , most of them could pass behind motherboard there is a 2 cm gap for that

Thanks, that's a good tip. I thought the three front noctuas are enough considering the gigantic dual-fan cpu cooler. And so far they have been. All fans are on minimum most of the time and during gaming the fans on the Vega are anyway louder :P

Nice machine. Btw, are you sure your RAM modules are correctly installed to take advante of the dual channel? Unless your motherboard manual states otherwise, normally when using 2 sticks of RAM. they need to be placed in RAM slots #2 and #4.
