Description

The build was very easy, no problems apart from the x52 Kraken slightly pushes on the ram but as this is only the RGB stick i'm not worried harly noticeable. I've had video tdr failure though, but have increased the power options to max performance and its been fine since. No other problems....like plug and play... Oh I had the MB flashed before it was sent to support the 3000 series chip, this was about £3 but worth it imo Just need some cablemod pro carbon extensions......

Gorgeous build. Would've liked to hear more about your build process, complications, etc in the description.

It's a beast, I've had video tdr failure though, but have increased the power options to max performance and its been fine since, the clock nearly always runs over 2000 it does get to 80oC with the fans hardly noticeable. I have started to do some overclocks I'll let you know... It a big card nice unasuming rgb wich you can change or switch off with a switch, not much droop it has a support built in. two bios

Great build. It has pretty much every part worth getting in 2019.

Who and how did u flashed your MB? So that it would support 3k series chip? (I'm planning on getting exact same cpu and MB)

https://www.awd-it.co.uk/asus-prime-x470-pro-gaming-amd-ryzen-2-atx-motherboard-socket-am4.html it's £2.95 to flash the bios and is one of the cheapest places for the board

I overclocked the cpu straight to 4.2 in the bios....no problems. set the Ram to 3200 and entered the timings in the bios no problems again

Is the GPU quiet and cool? One of my biggest "fears" of getting the 5700 XT is some of the reviews saying it's loud and hot. Since this one has 3 fans I'd assume those complaints aren't relevant here.

No it's about 10oC cooler than the reference card and quieter, it also has a twin bios for performace and quiet modes

Only 10 degrees Celsius? Isnt that like still very hot? Im super interested in this card but i keep hearing complaints about how hot it is...
