This is my pc first pc build and building went great. I really liked it to do, so if you didn't build a pc yet, but you are thinking about it to do, i would say: "Just Do It." At first I thought it would be really difficult to build it, but when I was builiding it was not, fortunately. I will just talk about all the parts that I bought for this pc:
Intel i5 6600K (CPU):
So this cpu is the best i5 cpu on the market right now, if I am right. It is a beast and I can simply overclock it to 4,1 Ghz with the Gigabyte EasyTune app that came with the motherboard. On stock speed, what I use now, it gives me 3.5 Ghz what is enough for now, because I don't have a GPU yet as you maybe already have seen.
be quiet! PURE ROCK (CPU cooler):
This CPU cooler is very nice for its price. It is close to the popular Cooler Master 212 Evo, but I think it is a little better and it is also smaller, what is really nice for my case. No hate to the 212 evo tough.
Gigabyte GA-Z170-Gaming K3 EU (Motherboard):
This motherboard gives me all the features I need for some years. Examples are: 64 gb DDR4 RAM, I think I only need 8gb more but whatever, Sata Express, Metal Shield for GPU, Amd crossfire, it hasn't Sli so if you want 2 nvidia graphics cards, then don't go with this mobo. But come on, 1 good gpu is enough right? For me it is and I have a FreeSync monitor so Amd Crossfire is on its place. It has also Gaming LAN for better online gaming performance. It has also AMP-UP Audio, what gives better audio ofc. It has also a really modern BIOS with good features. I almost forgot the Ambient LED lights on the mobo. It gives a very nice look to my Black and Red theme going on in and on the case. It also has good heatsyncs for nice overclock capabilities.
G.Skill Ripjaws V 8GB (2x4gb) DDR4-2133mhz (RAM):
In the part list it says that I have 2400mhz but I cannot find 2133mhz so I went with the other one, but I have 2133mhz, so you know now. It doesn't make that big of a difference btw and RAM is RAM I always say. G.Skill is a good brand and it gives me a very solid performance and smooth feeling. 8GB is enough for me now.
Samsung 250GB 750 evo (SSD):
This SSD is close to its big brother called the 850 evo. Booting my pc is a breath now. Booting up is so fast, before I had a HDD to boot up but I can't go back to a HDD for sure. This works too good.
WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM (HDD):
Just a very solid HDD. 1TB enough for now and for all my games.
NZXT S340 (case):
This case is a beauty. I love looking in and at it. It supports liquid cooling for in the feature and my CPU cooler fits perfectly in this case. I really like the slim look of it. Cable management in this case is really simple. The case comes with tie rips aswell, so cable management is on its finest! :)
Seasonic 620W 80+ Bronze certified Fully Modular ATX (PSU):
In the PC part list it says I have the 520watt version but I couldn't find the right psu again so you know. This 620W PSU gives me, aswell, the capabilities to overclock my CPU and supports the GPU I'm going to buy: MSI RX 480 Gaming X 8GB.
Philips Hue (Led strip):
Very nice ledstrip that can be controlled by your phone, pc, ipad, and so on. It works with a Wifi bridge.
LG 24MP68VQ (FreeSync monitor):
As it says, a FreeSync monitor, not for long on the market. It is a bit wobbly but I'm going to buy a dual monitor stand so it should be fixed at that moment!
I also have the cooler master Octane bundel and also fits well in my setup. It is a membrane keyboard but types really nice with 7 LED colors. It has also a breathing mode that switches colors aswell.
Just got Windows 10 pro on it in the legal way ;P I just bought a OEM key really cheap so $129.84 isn't the real price fortunately. I also have a pair of headphones: Sony MDR-XB450. Not the most expensive headphones but it gives me a very nice sound and it is bass boosted out of the box. Then I also have some logitech speakers with a subwoofer from logitech aswell that comes with the speakers. Some IKEA fake plants. And a Oneplus 3 White/Red box that fits well in the setup.
So this was all the information about my pc. If you have questions or tips, just let me know in the comments :) Let me know what you think about my first build. I am really curious.
