Radeon-V stands for Radeon-Virtualized
Here lies my greatest machine.
It is no Ryzen, It is no Vega.
It is no Core i9, nor it is a pair of 1080Tis.
Throw away your current conceptions about a gaming computer, throw away your current ideas of a normal computer.
This computer can game, but it's primary function is to do as many things as possible while focusing on heavy FP32 Compute and HPC via Opteron Cores
This computer is 50L in volume, but packs 4 CPUs, 64 Cores and 2 R9 Fury Xs with 1600W PSU to go support 2 x Radeon Pro Duos in the future and 1TB of DDR3 RAM.
All of the hardware here is fully capable of doing Virtualization, Supermicro H8QG6-F Board is the heart and soul of this build, allowing 64 Core Overclocks on a server motherboard.
This computer is also capable of doing Crossfire for Gaming, but if the games do not support crossfire, I can simply use 1 Fury X + 16 Cores for Gaming and 1 Fury X + 48 Cores for Compute in the meantime.
64 Cores Overclocked to 2.9GHz + 64GB of DDR3-1333 (planning to go upto 256GB if budget permits)
2x R9 Fury X for 17.2 TFLOPs FP32 Compute for rendering
Cooling this beast is also concern while designing and modifying the case, because at peak load, this machine consumes 1400W, dissipating that amount of heat is unthinkable for normal use cases.
Creating array of intake fans for constant airflow is crucial to this build, or else the heat buildup will overwhelm the cooling capacity of this build.
