Description

When a friend of mine asked me to build him a clean PC I jumped at the chance to make something slick and pristine. Working within his budget of $2500.00 dollars we worked on making a clean, capable and powerful gaming PC. Using parts I had used many times before I think this came out crisp and clean.

No issues with this build at all. Build went smooth and I love building in Phanteks cases. Only issue I am having is fan speed control but am working through that before making delivery.

Speaking of which if you want to check out the full build the VOD is up on YouTube here - https://youtu.be/fKmdvuY8GR4

You can also catch live version of me building PCs like this every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm PT at mixer.com/robeyonekenobi

Every build you put up is just amazing honestly. Was debating whether or not I should switch my build into this case, and I think you just sold me on it.

I'm gonna admit, this convinced me to like white themed builds; this is so clean! (when i say clean, i mean purely amazing) +1

Sweet build! Nothing compares to the quality of Phanteks cases. I've had 4 and I swear by them to this day

That is beautiful. I just completed a very similar build but I can't for the life of me get the motherboard leds to change to white. How did you do that? I couldnt figure it out in Armory Crate. Its telling me no compatible devices.

Yeah I didn’t have that issue at all! Maybe a MoBo issue 😔

The parts in the computer fit together perfectly that it looks like its compact yet it has so much room leftover. WELL DONE! It may be the most simple build you have done but it is the most aesthetically pleasing computer you have built. +200. Just one question, what are your thoughts on the 3800x, and is it worth getting it over a 3700x? Just for curious, you don't have to answer.

It really depends on budget. I mean it will make a difference of course, but if you need to stretch your budget to do so I wouldn't recommend it. It's the top in Ryzen 7 so it's the top of that version of silicon.

Very nice have the same case and thinking about going back to it. (tried out ITX once) But inspiration for a black and white build for sure!

Robey,

Forgive my ignorance but on that board there doesn't seem to be any place to plug the "tach cable" in. Are the USB and Sata power cables enough for the H100? If not, how did you plug the tach cable in? It has the little wings and won't fit on any of the cpu fan options?

Why did you need the sleeves when the PSU already came with pre-sleeved cables?

Hi, hows the motherboard? Im thinking of using it for a future build.

I have used it on many builds now and am very happy with it! So no complaints thus far and it has plenty of the right I/O, plus the layout is good for building.
