Description

Workstation & Gaming "Budget" Monster. Never had any build this "deadly" cause all of the red lighting even when I got some RGB LEDs, hence the name Nether Blaze.

BTW, I need help in undervolting my Vega 56, I have been using auto-undervolt feature in the Adrenalin software...

Part Reviews

CPU

The best Budget CPU ever yet.... This is where AMD dethrones Intel....

Motherboard

Great B450 mobo for $99 (Amazon). nice features and little details too....

Memory

I don't get why this cost up to $107, but it's good for OC, and looks solid.

Storage

This SSD cost $32 in my country, and have better performance than any other SSDs within this price range....

Storage

It's just the best 2TB HDD out there, 5 years and still working...

Video Card

If only this GPU is factory undervolted this might be the best price to performance ratio GPU yet..... (with 2019 pricing update...)

Case

Great case, the only downside is the plastic covers, was hoping to get an aluminum or metal cover in the fir future update.

Use OverdriveNTool to undervolt.

For driver 18.12.2 or newer use OverdriveNTool 0.2.8 beta1 or newer.

So is it preferable to downgrade to 18.12.2 for a stabler Overdrive version? Or is the beta good enough?

  • 0.2.7 for driver 17.7.2 - 18.12.1.1
  • 0.2.8 beta1 (or newer) for driver 18.12.2 (or newer)

My advice is to use latest AMD driver and test whether the built-in Wattman or OverdriveNTool is better at undervolting when stressing the GPU. Monitor the voltages with GPU-Z.

Another way to tweak the performance is to use MSI Afterburner.

Thanks for the input, I'm new to this Overdrive tool but I will be trying it. Btw, what's the recommended voltages for each state? Or are there any recommended profiles out there?

Check these:

Also - use custom GPU fan curve to avoid loudness.

bruh, when buying a ryzen chipset, always buy ram with over 3000 speed, it helps loads

Why the 2400 ram not 3200?

Why not?

Because of base slower speeds? You can get faster ram for not that much more money.
