I feel like you could've gotten a way better video card for a 1700$ build :/ For gaming, 16GB Ram is overkill, and the power supply was a bad choice, since your TDP draw is 400 wats. (Excusable if you're planning to do upgrades in the future)

Price is not right.

I do want to put in more or better cards in the future but I can play full graphics on any game so I am fine.

Could have gone with the i7-4790k which is $30 cheaper...Added $50 and gone with the Z97 Sabertooth Mark 1...Over paid for RAM, max should be 1GB for $10; unless there is something in that RAM that you want...Paid too much for your 1TB HDD (I got 1TB WD Black 7200RPM for $80; you don't really need an SSD for Windows 8.1)...What do you need 1200W for? I ain't judging...BTW Windows shouldn't be priced more than $100...You didn't need really expensive Peripherals when you start out, go basic and then upgrade to better stuff, kind of took out from your budget...You could have gotten a lot more with $1750...

May i ask why the video card is a bad choice? I plan to buy it soon...

OCZ has horrible firmware that causes the drives to become corrupted and to become paper weights. The last one I got I leave on my desk till a newer firmware is released(current 2.0 since last checked)

Plus I like Hybrid drives(not as fast as a SSD but they are still fast)

WD green was on sale and 3TB for storage(Games, files, programs)

I only wanted a i7 processor. I did think about it, but why pay more for want I will not use when I am going to have a dedicated graphics card or two
