Wireless Network Adapter
+ Total (United States):
First Build :DDD
matte black color scheme
Primary uses (besides general use): gaming, tiny bit of video editing
Prior to building this, I was on a "gaming" laptop that ran BF4 @30 frames on low graphics settings and the Witcher 3 @20 frames on low graphics settings. Now, I can run BF4 at high enough frames to utilize my 144hz monitor and the Witcher 3 at 60+ fps on its highest settings.
I had to decide whether or not to include clearer pictures with a lot of glare on the tempered glass window or slightly fuzzy ones in the dark without glare. (photos without the glass window were included to compensate)
Most of these parts were purchased around the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, so I was able to cram quite a bit into my ~1200$ budget
CPU set to 4.5GHz @1.337 volts
Keeps my 6600k at 46-47 ° C under load when clocked @4.5GHz....very quiet....80 bucks...not much more I could ask for
looks nice and had a clean & easy to use bios that made overclocking my CPU and setting my RAM speed very easy
very sleek and easy to set to 3000MHz in the bios
I boot in 5 seconds. Transferring files is many times faster than when using the old 128GB Kingston SSD I had in my laptop.
high quality materials; cable management was very easy; tempered glass panel is super smexy in person (way better than in pictures)
650w & bronze with sleek/high-quality cables for only 60 bucks
Extremely easy to set up; solid connection; black
