This is my SFF build in the case I fell in love at first sight, and since I read about poor thermals with air cooling, was easy to decide going full AIO water cooling on it
Few thoughts about it on part list comments
More of this review to come, also the pics
Nothing more to add, great performance CPU form Intel
So far doing it’s job keeping cool the 8700K, I had to change the stock fan for the Noctua Slim fan because wouldn’t fit. Pump is quiet. Radiator thickness is perfect for this case
An easy to run and overclock MoBo. RAID 0 array was easily configured by the BIOS. WiFi antena looks and works great. Be carefull installing the bloatware software that comes with it. RGB is fixed on a plain bluish white because I’m not a big fan of rainbow RGB modes
I’m not such a fan of RGB, so performance was the aim for this RAM set. Also the white color goes well with the Deepcool Captain 120 EX White
RAID 0 array was configured before installing the Operative System. It tooks longer for show the BIOS screen than the 5 seconds to boot the system on Windows. Lightning fast
Bought to be storage for documents. Not so fast as my Samsung 960 EVO RAID 0 array, but does a fast job anyway
This is a great video card for the price. It has a bottleneck explained more in depth on the case comments, because it’s not the card fault. Stock fan it’s the loudest component on the case, but it can’t be change it without disassemble the card. Newly released Adrenalin software improve the performance. Five Stars because it does what it’s advertised.
Best looking Mini ITX case of this year, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Cable management it’s a headache instead, Cablemod cables are highly recommended since the included ones with the PSU are too stiff to route them around easily. I just order a set for this. Make sure you make a good cable management plan BEFORE you start to build it up, or you will have to deal later with multiple step backwards as you go. Included 140mm fan so far is doing it’s job pulling the hot air out of the case, but I intend to change it for a Noctua NF - F12 Industrial that i got sitting around.
All components are super tight on this case, including tha cables coming out of the IO shield (specially the DVI And USB cables) won’t allow to close top door without a hard press on it. Don’t know if there are 90 degrees cables for this, or at least a USB multiHUB long cable would be a great idea.
Worst thing about it was he riser cable for the video card. At first I believe it was a video card issue, but then I look at forums and found it wasn’t an uncommon problem. I was getting 70 FPS on League of Legends, when I was hopping for 150+. Also, PC stopped and restarted on safe mode when loading complex graphics on web browser or videos on Youtube. Problem was solve by getting down the speed of PCI Express Bus to Gen II, at the cost of decreasing even more the frame rate. Test bench of components on other system without the riser cable was normal so, there’s only one thing to blame here. Bad thing for a case at this price range, and for me a deal breaker, because I can’t take the juice i want from my brand new PC
Delivers it’s power and silent even under load. Period
Great slim fan, keeps cool the 8700k on a Deepcool Captain 120EX. Rubber screws had to be replaced by a 3x25 screws for Radiator mounted position
