Description

my play system that was as low budget as possible. built with scraps from work, friends and as low cost parts found. thus when no case was found cheap enough i made my own!! verry fun, purchased mb on ebay for 25 due to bent cpu pins, fixed that and moved on from there. made the small case first then remade and tossed in the case with no red plexi

Why a GT 710? I think the integrated graphics are better than the 710. I'm pretty sure 710s are meant for people with like xeons or fx who don't need good graphics but don't have an iGPU

Good job! I'd love to see benchmarks in this portable $400 rig.

It only cost me 200 but if everything was new i estimate price as 500 and what benchmarks are you thinking

Really, whatever you are playing. I'd like to know what can be accomplished with that kind of a budget.

Very cool. I like your transition to the final product. Not a powerhouse, but still a great build and creatively modified.

Thumbs up.

Id say compared to stock really not bad. Id recomend cryoric c7 instead though way higher performance for slightly higher price

Actualy testing with mine has the c7 higher than the 212... i used my 4690 at stock and got 2 to 3 degrees better temp at load and less volume at idle... the added benefit is the height clerance... yper 212 is way taller than c7....

And build quality. The c7 or h7 even have great performance and cryorig has amazing thermal paste.. like the best free thermal paste out there. Also here.
