Description

My Basic everything PC, runs all my games at ultra! tried to cram everything to be as cheap as possible and I'm incredibly happy with the outcome..

I5 6500 - Basic quad core suitable for everything for work and play ( regretting because ryzens r5 6c/12 would have been perfect)

ASRock H110M-DGS Micro ATX - Cheapest motherboard for all my needs, and from a well known brand so a no brainer

Crucial 8GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory - Its ram! as simple as chips - The reason i have 2 of the same ram instead of buying a dual kit is because i initially built this pc early January with a fractal design core 1000 case, and chose to upgrade it from 8 gb to 16 gb a few weeks later because a friend gave me an amazon voucher and i thought why not..

Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB STRIX Video Card - (MY LOVEEEE) i managed to get this beauty in a flash amazon sale for £368 considering they normally retail for around £410 to £420 i snatched it... i initially wanted a 1060 6gb but i couldn't pass up this offer. Smashes through everything I've thrown at it and STILL doesn't break a sweat, i know it going to last me 3 years at the very least, so ultimate future proof goodness

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB - Best bang for the Buck hardrive, works as it should.

Case - Jonsbo UMX 3 -Probably the sexiest case I've ever laid eyes on I initially wanted a built around the fractal design node 202 & 1060 6gb(mini itx) but since i already had a micro atx case and it would have ultimately been around £50 CHEAPER to use my case and have a GTX 1070 INSTEAD..

EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply - Cheap and solid, extremely happy with this and works flawlessly

Considering i used to have an Athlon x4 860k and GTX 650 ti boost, this is a quantum leap in terms of upgrade.. Loved every part of building this case and runs like a dream, also had next to no problems with it too

Would there be any bottlenecking between the GPU and the CPU? I have the same CPU, but don't know if I should upgrade from my 1060 3GB. Nice build!! :)

not much, only bottleneck i slightly notice is in battlefield 1.. but battlefield 1 is one of the most cpu intensive games out there

Your cable management could stand some improvement, I think. See if you can't fix it up; practice makes perfect.
