Description

I play PC games and i use it to stream on twitch. Overall this build holds up pretty good, its not the most expensive but its not the cheapest. Im a baller on a budget. For streaming and playing games at the same time i don't really have any problems out of it. Have to lower my game quality a little bit just cuz of streaming but when im not streaming everything is on high settings!!

I'm genuinely curious, this build doesn't hold up well when streaming? I don't stream myself so I don't know tbh.

Any idea why, specifically?

So like it might be my internet, bitrate, settings, who knows lol but like sometimes I’ll drop frames real bad if I’m playing my game and streaming at the same time on the highest settings. A lot of big streaming’s have a second PC just for streaming so idk lol. I mean it gets the job done tho

If your broadband upload speed is above 2.5Mbps (check via speedtest.net) then you should be able to stream flawlessly at 720p, with the condition that your broadband connection is stable and doesn't cut out at times.

The fact that your framerate cuts out while in a demanding game makes me think that your CPU can't handle the extra weight of rendering and broadcasting a Twitch stream. It's either that or you have some gnarly software running in the background that is affecting the CPU.

Some Twitch streamers use an extra PC for rendering, sure, but it seriously isn't needed. A PC should have enough grunt to play videogames and stream content at the same time.

What games do you play when not streaming and is it just up to high or can you get ultra-like with AAA titles? Am asking because I planned on building a PC with the 2700X and a 2070 (unless I find a good deal on a secondhand 1080ti) and all I read are how good they are for getting high FPS on 1440p even at high/ultra settings, to include many AAA titles in particular.

Yeah haha the poster gets me sometimes. So my middle monitor is the one I play PC games on cuz it’s 144hz. I also stream call of duty and other PS4/Xbox games and those monitors are really good for that. Yeah cod tournaments are on console. I do have a SSD
