Description

I made this to absolutely smash games and to have a cleaner, sexier look than my last build. I love how the color scheme came out and it looks tight with the color changing LEDs.

NZXT S340 I have a love hate relationship with this case. The shroud keeps everything nice and neat but boy is it hard to work around. Building in this case is basically like giving birth: You squeeze some things through a really tight spot; it may take hours and a lot of strain but the end result is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen.

i5-7600k I went for an i5 over an i7 to cut cost and it doesn't appear to bottleneck the build at all, I'm considering overclocking to get more frames on games like PUBG but other games that are optimized do just fine.

Cryorig Fans Cryorig really pulled through for me. The heat-sink looks way cooler than the hyper 212 and any noctua fan. Their colors fit in with the build and I'm running a solid 30 degrees idle and 40 degrees after a few hours in PUBG. I threw a couple case fans in there to get some air intake. I haven't plugged them into the mobo yet so they are a little loud.

ASRock Z270 Killer Asrock integrated wifi doesn't work very well for gaming in my build. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong but my Wifi dongle with 2.4 Ghz bandwidth gets significantly less lag than the Intel 802.11ac 5Ghz. Same down/up speedso it's possible that the chip is just defective.

I fixed my WLAN issue and I'm not sure how.

Corsair Vengeance Spent a while trying to get the build to post. I thought the ram wasn't seated correctly because it was very difficult to get in there. I discovered the solution by accident when I forgot to put the mobo battery back in when resetting the cmos. It went into the bios just fine after that.

GTX 1080 Luckily I bought this baby before prices skyrocketed

Xonar DGX I bought a sound card because I have an Antlion modmic that has terrible white noise without it.

Dell s2716DG Best value for 1440p 144hz gaming out there right now. Default settings are terrible so you have to fiddle with it a bit.

If you have problems with your dell turning on after your computer goes into sleep mode, there is a setting on the monitor called deep sleep mode. It comes automatically enabled. Disable it and it'll fix the problem :)

Yeah, I figured out that one pretty quick. It's not even a deep sleep; they should have named it Coma Mode.
