Description

The mod-bug continues. This was originally a highly budget machine for my projector. It was supposed to be a normal build with absolutely nothing special going on. Nothing. A plain build for a plain purpose. But that mod-bug was never so easily defeated. Parts arrived. Time kept marching forward. I binged Dr. Who. I passed all my university exams. My 980 ti in my primary build died, I got 2 gtx 1080's to replace it. <--- Build coming.

I didn't see it coming. The days were peaceful, the bug suppressed. But before I knew it, the chains restricting the bug shattered. For 10 hours the it took over and another child of the bug was created. Will I ever regain control of my life? Maybe not.

TL;DR I'm running out of description ideas.

Parts:

  • Pentium G3258: This is supposed to power a projector so I wasn't focusing very much on power. Used.

  • Motherboard: I mean I'm not getting z series for a pentium. Used.

  • Memory: Cheap. Used (noticing a trend here?)

  • Storage: Stolen from the corpse of my dead laptop.

  • Case: Wanted something small, but large enough to fit at least an MATX motherboard. Oh who am I kidding, cheap and it looked amazing. Used.

  • Power supply: The one part I was NOT willing to get used.

And thus the build is finished. This isn't one of my best projects as I had to finish this in about 10 hours, but I still do love how it turned out.

Not a fan of Dr. Who, but very well done on the paint job. Still earns my +1.
