like I will play games on ultra 1080p and it barely gets over 60 fps and sometimes dips down below 60. it really annoys me lol.

That is odd - a 1500X should be able to maintain 60+ in just about any title. Some CPU heavy games (Assassin's Creed) have a bunch of DRM that just destroy CPU performance. Have you check that temps are all good, RAM is running at stated speeds, etc?
