I wouldn't trust that power supply, it's only 80+. I would go with AT LEAST 80+ Bronze. This one is probably a better bet: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx500

I've been hearing the EVGA 500w 80+ Bronze is identical to that Corsair, in fact slightly favored in EVGA.

Yeah, both are the same Tier rating (Tier 3 http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html) And both are the most comparable. However people favor the EVGA slightly due to higher output on the 12v rail.

I did not know that. Thanks for the info! I was gonna switch to a Corsair supply.

it's like swapping an apple for an apple. I would switch to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030 or this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013 both are Tier 2. All Tier 2's are are basically Tier 1's but rated at lower outputs (Tier 1's are those 1600w supplies) The reason i haven't chosen it is because its pricey. I'm gonna give the EVGA a chance, If i even have a minor issue, i'll swap it out for that XFX or the Antec, from the links i sent you.
