Onboard sound card

I have a gigabyte ga h170n wifi motherboard and it has real tech alc1150 audio onboard. My question is will I benefit from installing another sound card of better quality? Or is the one I have good?

Thanks!!!

What will you be using for audio? Onboard is usually good enough for most people unless there is a noticeable problem like hissing or static noise.

Even if you are an audiophile, unless there are serious issues with your onboard, I don't think you will benefit from a sound card.
