Scythe Fuma for OC

In my future build, I was wondering if the Scythe Fuma would be able to cool a 17 6700k with an OC not exceeding 4.7Ghz? Thanks in advance :)

Its quite a beefy cooler, it will be able to handle any overclock you throw at it at reasonable voltage i.e ~1.42V or below. For a idea of how good it is I could get my i5 6600K to 4.9Ghz at 1.47V and stay around 80C during cienebench and it would likely be around 90C for something like Prime95.

As for it begin able to cool that will all depend on the CPU you get, not all CPU's are made equal. Some overclock better than others, some won't do 4.7Ghz even if you use something stupid like 1.5V, etc. Its called the sillicon lottery for a reason.

Yes, if you tighten it correctly.

Remember that not all chips overclock the same. Its a lottery, so it also depends on the cpu you get.
