So this is the card I purchased GeForce® GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G M# GV-N1060G1 GAMING-6GD Rev1. My question is about monitors supported. I was reading thru this
and I see these specification>>>>> Dual-link DVI-D 1
HDMI-2.0b1 (Max Resolution: 4096x2160 @60 Hz)
Display Port-1.4 *3 (Max Resolution: 7680x4320 @60 Hz)
and this >>>>> Digital max resolution 7680x4320
What is the best monitor type for this GPU ? will GPU support ultra wide monitors, 144hz, or 27” monitors am I best to stay with a 24” 1080P 60hz?

Signed, THE NOOB
The 1060 is geared towards 1080p gaming. You could run an ultrawide on it however you won't get as good of a frame rate if you went standard 1080p. I would just stick with the best 1920x1080, 144hz monitor that you can afford. I'm currently using the Acer XF240H and highly recommended it.
Thanks for the advice, I went with a Dell S2716DG
Looks like a great monitor, hope you enjoy it.
I would agree with the 1060 6gb suited to a 1080p 144hz monitor as i have that setup on my 2nd rig.
Nice display..... your going to have to tone down some graphical settings to maintain a higher frame rate. Good thing is that it has Gsync so there will be no screen tearing. If the games are not demanding then you can max out the graphics. Good investment. All you have to do in future is upgrade the GPU again.
