RX 460 or 1050

I'm building a PC for my friend who mainly plays Overwatch (1080p high). I'm deciding between RX 460 2GB and 1050 2GB. Which should be better?

The 1050 is slightly more powerful, but the 460 costs less.

A 460 will still run Overwatch at 1080p 60 fps on high settings.

Well... It depends on how recent the benchmarks are. Pretty sure the 460 has received decent performance boosts from Crimson Relive, enough to make up for that gap.

If the build is in the market for a new monitor anytime soon, consider the RX 460 as it opens the door to lots of inexpensive freesync monitors.

What A5PECt said generally, however pushing the budget a bit for a 1050ti might be worth it if he wants to play more demanding games at some point.

Well he wants a strict under $500 build. He wants to build it in late May/ early June which right around Memorial Day so I suggested to him that he could got for the sales but I think the 1050Ti will still make the build go over budget even with the promos and rebates.
