Great Beginner's Guide to Building a PC

I realize there are tons of resources out there on how to build a pc, but I frequently see posts on here from people new to pc building who are looking for guidance. I've been a huge fan of Jay from Jayztwocents for a while so I thought I would share the excellent guide he published earlier today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHAelSOF6f0. In particular, he shows how to test your core components before spending the time installing them in the case, something which often gets overlooked.

For the new builders, still ask as many questions as you need on the forums, I simply wanted to share this as a way to hopefully get you started in the right direction.

This is a great start. Bookmarking for when my friend and I do our first build together.

Have fun with it! A couple of the other YouTubers I follow have recently posted similar content, Paul on Paul's Hardware live streamed a build yesterday, check that out here. Kyle on Bitwit also just posted a how-to build guide on his early access channel, so I'll post the link to that as well when it goes to his main channel in about a week.

Theres also these/two very helpful videos that I tend to forget about, from Paul's Hardware, one what to do AFTER you get the PC assembled! Such as making a Windows usb installer and designating a boot device. He even apologizes at the beginning about how techtubers have a bad habit of guiding you on how to build a pc, but then just leave you with a metal box that does nothing lol
