Basic Office/Everyday Use PC: $500 Budget

MBP662

Looking to build a PC for an older gentleman. He hasn't upgraded his current PC in quite some time and would like something new. The computer will be used mostly for internet/video streaming (Netflix) and email .. very basic use. Peripherals are not needed at all. I have a basic idea of what is needed but would like to consult the forums here as well and get some additional input. Thanks!

Here ya go ☺ you can get a better pentium for the better igpu but the g4560 should do just fine.

I would recommend a G4600 and no GPU but this is another solution.

Mini ITX and 500gb SSD. Should be good for his needs

@OP this is the better build because as a workstation build an SSD will be really nice.

This would last him for a while

He doesn't need a 1400. The G4560 would be better and cheaper.

Well it might struggle with video playback and the graphics will not be as good
