Ultra SFF Build, will WIndows 10 run off a flash drive successfully without issue

So I have this idea of an ultra small form factor box that will run Windows 10 off a 32GB/64GB mini flash drive. It will be connected to my TV and serve as a Streaming Box/Web Browser. Has anyone ran Windows 10 off a USB 3.0 flashdrive? As a 2nd question, could I get by with 4GB of RAM for this?

Update: I just decided to go with a SSD.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll try to clarify. I have a mITX mobo I found for a good price. I plan to make my own case. I ask about the usb because I don't really need a large amount of storage, just enough to run an OS. My design revolves around using the PSU as an intake and letting it exhaust out the back. If a usb won't be enough to run the OS, I'll just include a small SSD into the design of the case.

Only way I see using a usb is with a linux setup. ssd is a way way better option.

Why does it need to be Windows?

Intent is to use it as a Stream box, and I do not believe PS Vue works on Linux.

Hahaha, I think OP knows you need a processor. Sounds more like he was asking if you can use a USB flash drive as a hard drive.

My answer would be - probably not. However, you could get a motherboard that supports M.2 SSDs.

You can though, just boot off a flash drive like a dual boot system or like how you might install windows.

I can't imagine that being a good idea if you can. Windows doesn't load the whole OS into RAM, so it would run really slow off of a USB drive. OP would need a motherboard and SSDs are small enough, I don't think it would make this "super SFF" too big.

Well how SFF is OP talking? Because I know a lot of SFF cases that can't take a 2.5" SSD.

Uhh...really? I can't think of a single case that can't fit a 2.5" drive...
