Thread Ripper Clock Problem - 2Ghz??

HardwareNoob

Hello,

I overclocked my 1950x to 4Ghz, but for some strange reason, only 9 of the cores are overclocked.

The others are just at 2Ghz.

This is very strange, please help me get this fixed.

What's your MOBO?

Did you check "Synch all cores"?

What did you use for the stress test?

This sounds kinda like an issue I had with my FX 8350 when the VRM's were overheating. What do your thermals look like?

At 44*C

Now for some reason I am having a different problem...

All cores are @ 3.75ghz - I go into to bios change multiplier to 40, but when I boot into the system the multiplier is back to 37.5.... wtf?
