RAM Question for Ryzen

LatiosGaming

Hey guys, I bought the X470 Taichi Ultimate only to find out the QVL list is really frustrating. Since I'm streaming, I want to have 32 GB of RAM, but I also want tight timings and high speed. I guess what I'm trying to ask is if it's possible to deviate from the QVL list without much issue or perhaps my understanding of a QVL list is not accurate. Any help is much appreciated.

So far there have been no issues related to second gen products and RAM outside of ultra high frequencies.

Well that's good to hear. The whole idea was to have a streaming rig that could bite at the heels of the 8700K in gaming once all parts capable of being overclocked were pushed to their limits. I didn't want to bother with X299 because of all the VRM issues and not to mention price. X99 is also a little old now.
