That link isn't shortened, it's the link the image uploading site gave me, when I open it it shows that exact link in the url bar

Oh interesting, marked as a link shortener on my network, must be mislabeled. Certainly doesn't look like a direct image link.

I use the same service fairly frequently, you need to go to the link, right-click on the image, and then select "Open in New Tab" (may be slightly different depending on the browser you use).
