What do you think is the most legendary song? That is not your favorite, it's the type of song that everyone SHOULD know.

The Saga Begins by Weird Al Yankovic.

You may ask why I think it is legendary. Well my answer wpuld be it is the first prequel meme. Thus making him and the song a legend where I come from.

that song is pretty good but at the end of the day I would have to choose American Pie over it

wow that was intense, especially considering that my comment is still at the default 1 karma (as of writing this) meaning that you probably didn't even downvote it. I love The Saga Begins but I also love American Pie, is that so big a deal?

There can be no greater heresy. Let him be an example for all who would break our covenant.

to that I say

Anakin, if one is to understand the great mystery, one must study all its aspects, not just the dogmatic narrow view of the Jedi. If you wish to become a complete and wise leader, you must embrace...a larger view of the Force.

I think some people missed the sarcasm in my comment. Not saying you but others. I wasn't actually going to downvote you just so everyone else knows.

“Not saying you but others”, “missed the sarcasm”

Yeah I did get that sarcasm in there (mostly because you didn't actually downvote it so I assumed it was a joke)

I cannot believe that no one has said Bohemian Rhapsody yet.

Literally about to comment the same. If that song is on and you're not belting it out as loud as you can (falsetto if you got it) then you're not human.

  • 1 point

I belt it, but I'm not good at it. I consider myself an ok singer, but Freddie's voice is something truly amazing and one of a kind.

The fact that 90% of the songs that come to mind are Queen songs say alot, i feel like almost everyone will be able to go along with We are the champions or We will rock you... But i think "Legendary" describes Bohemian Rhapsody

Don't get me wrong Freebird is a great song but I don't consider it legendary.

I’m going to have to agree on that first one. I remember when I first heard the meme.

As a side-note, that statement wasn’t quite as crazy as it may seem. Estrogens are one of the most common pollutants out there.

EDIT: I’ll add one to your list, a personal favorite of mine. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OUEeAzl9Weo

No such thing as the "most legendary" song. A song's legendaryness isn't something that can be objectively measured. That being said...

"Gloomy Sunday" is a contender. Legend has it that the song inspired a lot of suicides.

A pair. "Stairway to Heaven" and "Hotel California". Songs that you loved at first, but you began to hate them after hearing them a few million times.

"Gangnam Style", the pop music version of Fortnite.

Super Mario Brothers theme. There are probably uncontacted tribes at the headwaters of the Amazon who know this one.

"Yesterday" by the Beatles. You cried. You know you did.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. Unique.

Clearly the most legendary song ever created is by Yes and it is called Siberian Khatru.
