Revolver S Braided Cable Problem

My headset (HyperX Revolvser S) may have issues in the near future in regards with it’s braided cable - the braiding has begun pulling off, exposing the rubber cable beneath it.

I don’t know what to do; currently, this isn’t a major issue as the rubber seems to be fine and not damaged, though, I’m quite anxious of what could potentially happen. I’d just like for something durable to act as a protector/coverage for the exposed rubber, and for something to keep the braiding from pulling further apart, or other possible solutions. This cable isn’t detachable, so ordering a different one is not a solution.

Also, please don’t involve tape as a solution to this, haha.

Thank you for your time! - Crit
