Gigabyte Z390 Master Onboard Audio

I am building a gaming PC and want to know with the onboard audio on the Z390 Master will it not sound good if im using the AudioEngine A2+ and subwoofer

It will be fine and the Master Audio implementation is fairly typical of higher end boards. With that said it does not matter for most the part. The AudioEngine A2+ has a built in DAC and AMP which is why they are also powered and not simply passive.

On modern motherboards, the audio quality is much better than boards from 8+ years ago. you really won't have issues with on-board audio until you go back to pre-Haswell boards.

On the topic of what you are using for speakers, it will sound fine for day to day uses. The only reason you really need to get a proper DAC/amplifier is if you're doing audiophile levels of listening
