How to get 4.5 ghz on my 3960X?

Hello all,

I tried enabling PBO on the BIOS but nothing happens, Also, I am not too familiar with the Ryzen Master software and I do not really want to accidentally fry my CPU.

Can someone help me achieve 4.5 ghz on all cores?

Also, how much volts should I add? I am new to all this.

Thank you!

Safely you can't.

The 4.5ghz figure from AMD is.

Max boost for AMD Ryzen processors is the maximum frequency achievable by a single core on the processor running a bursty single-threaded workload. Max boost will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to: thermal paste; system cooling; motherboard design and BIOS; the latest AMD chipset driver; and the latest OS updates.

Some info from them on the subject and maximizing speeds.

As for overclocking it isn't worth it the stock boost profile pushing the CPU as hard as it can safely be done.

You have to run a lightly threaded workload within AMD specifications for that model.

It's best with AMD's products to focus more on actual performance rather then what AMD lists for a maximum boost clock.
