[Question] PC Build Upgrade Compatibility

I built my current PC in 2015 with the following parts:

Motherboard: H97 Guard-Pro (MS-7923) CPU: Intel(R) Core I5-4460 RAM: 8GB DDR3 Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

I want to keep the same motherboard and upgrade this year to the following:

Intel CORE i7-4790K Fury DDR3 1600 C10 2x8GB GeForce GTX 1060-6GB

I have ordered and received the correct CPU and RAM upgrades. I think I received the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660-6GB by mistake. I assume this is not compatible with the motherboard? I want to make sure it is not compatible before I return it and get the 1060. Thanks! Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Yes, the GTX 1060 is compatible with that board.

Thanks! What about the GTX 1660?

That should work to. Basically any PCI-E graphics card will work.
