Upgrade from AMD athlon x950 to ryzen 5 2600

I am upgrading my cpu from a AMD athlon x950 to a ryzen 5 2600. I got a few questions regarding this, I have a gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H motherboard and that means I have to update my bios if pcpartpicker is correct. But I am fairly new to this upgrading and didnt build my pc myself so does anyone know how to do a bios update and if so: what version do I need?

Thanks in advance

Any BIOS version after F20 will work with the 2600.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-A320M-S2H-rev-1x/support#support-cpu

However you can't use the X4 950 to update to any version F40 through F41 as they lack support for that CPU and will fail the BIOS update

F42 has buggy support for A-series which isn't fully supported again until F43d

I would stop at the F32 BIOS because of that.
