Noob build question

Now this is my first build on a computer and I'm 95% about this and I want to be 100% sure.

If I initially build my pc without a graphics card it will just run off the integrated graphics correct?

And i can just install a gpu down the road correct?

Now when I get my separate gpu what do I have to do to install other than pop it in and install drivers?
