Nice UEFI and love the RGB lighting. First motherboard for first build, so I don't have the Knowledge to compere to past motherboards. Works great and no complaints.

Great motherboard, but took off one star for the piece of junk IO shield. It had metal tags on the holes cut out for the hdmi, displayport, and usb 3.1 (type A) ports that ended up sticking into the ports on the motherboard. I had to remove the motherboard and bend the tags to keep them from wanting to go into the mentioned ports. The instruction booklet did not mention these tags, nor did it mention having to bend them to keep them from getting jammed into the ports on the motherboard. Also, another thing worth mentioning is the front panel audio doesn't seem to work properly, if I turn the volume over 4, my headphones crackle. I've played around with Asus' audio software, but was unable to resolve the issue. I use the rear line out connector for my headphones now, and have no issues with it. It may be an issue with my case's front panel audio connectors, or the motherboard, or even both, but either way, I thought it was worth mentioning. AI Suite, Asus' software for controlling parts of the motherboard such as cpu clock rate, and fan speed has an issue. At first it caused a memory leak that negatively affected performance. Later it caused BSOD's after login due to a bad driver which forced me to uninstall AI Suite to resolve the problem.

MOBO: I am really impressed by this motherboard. Incredibly easy installation and set up, beautiful visuals, and all the features I need (or don't). I used the same discount on Jet to buy it well below its usual selling point.

This is my first build, so I dont have much to compare this board to. Its been a pleasant experience to work with and I have not had a single issue since the completion of my PC. The UEFI is super easy to understand and read through. The board looks incredible with the nice heat sheilds and I/O shroud that has the LEDs in it. Asus Aura software works well and has a ton of customization options.

Lots of features that I probably wont use. There is a small orange LED that stays lit even when off, doesn't bother me, but some may not like it.

Asus Aura works as described, will be connecting case lights in the near future.

Fan control is great, I currently have all fans connected to the mother board.

Built in WIFI is rock solid, One of the main reasons I chose this board.

It had all the connections that I need, support for SLI/Crossfire if I want in the future, overclocking support for the processor, and a nifty RGB lighting section. BIOS is fairly intuitive and easy to manipulate. Not much else to say.

I have what I need in this feature. Just few more bucks will get you extra features. HD audio is very nice and Wifi is another great feature of this version.

Its alright. The drivers are pretty bad, but installation is easy. Also price is atrocious, but the Wifi is really good. I would recommend, because its the cheapest Z270-E ATM. Also, the 12v fan header stopped working. there is more, but THIS one has an LED and its bugging me because its bright orange.

So far really liking this board. Went with this over the Hero because of the Wifi but also cause of the M2 fan that you can install. Overclocking is easy, but I think I could get more out of CPU if I did go Hero. Also be careful when installing the board into the case the IO shield has these little metal latches that you want to make sure don't block the usb 3.1 etc. You can see what I mean in picture 3.
