MX brown - love the tactile feel. Noise is tolerable but it was loud at first use. Maybe I'm just not use to it.

Replaced a Logitech G710+ that I love using. Decided to get a keyboard with a chassis that looks less gamer-ish. The RGB lighting is pretty damn cool. Have it set to all white to get that office look, then turn on teh rainbowz for when you game!

Went with MX Brown as I loved using it on the G710+. I find that the MX blues are a bit more fatiguing over the browns when used for long hours.

Great upgrade from my old Razer switch keyboard, although i split a drink on it (and some keys became sticky), this keyboard still works and works perfectly

  • Customizable
  • Good build quality
  • Very detailed software

  • Could be a bit brighter

  • Software has a long learning curve
  • The white light appears light blue

I love this keyboard it's awesome. I like the more subtle RGB lighting effects that this can give, but I also like the option to have a spinning rainbow on my keyboard when I show it off to people lol! My only slight regret is not getting the clickiest keys because I thought I wouldn't like them, but I tried another keyboard with different switches (idk exactly what they were but they weren't brown) and I really liked the click. However, I still love this keyboard it's loud enough for me :D and it performs well in games.

This brown switch keyboard is just great. I'm coming to this from a blue switch keyboard, and while I like blue switches, they are just too loud to use for someone in college who has to type a lot of papers. The RGB lighting is nice, but it's not very bright. Corsair's CUE software is okay, but I prefer Razer's Synapse 2.0 software, too bad it only works with Razer products. I have had to restart CUE a few times due to the keyboard's lighting not responding to the software, hopefully this issue gets fixed. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, but I use my own wrist rest instead of the one that came with it. The wrist rest that came with it is just too slippery for my taste. My wrist slides off, it kind of takes the rest out of wrist rest. The keys were a bit clacky when bottoming out and coming back up, so I installed clear o-rings on all the keycaps. The o-rings helped somewhat, but the keys still clack when coming back up. Even though they clack coming back up, they are still worlds quieter than the blue switches I was using before. Overall I really like this keyboard, it looks premium, feels premium, and hopefully will last me for many years.

Its my first mechanical keyboard, and difference comparing to membrane is huge, it feels different i love brown switches, it is clicky but i think it is good thing. and i love tactile feedback too. And being RGB, customization options are pretty much endless. love my new keyboard the only thing i dont love about it is price :p

Brown key switches are quiet and tactile. Good lighting options.
