I really like the look and the BIOS is easy. Wish it had more than two USB 2.0 headers though

Solid motherboard with great features, and surprisingly good onboard sound if you're interested in that. My only issue was that I experienced problems using the first M.2 slot and chose to use the second slot to cut my troubleshooting process short, but it's fine otherwise. I particularly like that the USB 3.0 connector is horizontal, so it's very easy to plug in the front panel cable; it also comes with an easy adapter for the tiny front panel connectors.

For the motherboard, I had to go with Asus Prime Z370 since it would work perfectly with the black and white theme of the build. Not to mention it's Aura Sync RGB capabilities and the very respectable overclocking performance of the VRM's.

Great board, not to much extra I don't need. COULD use more RGB but i guess thats what the STRIX z370 is for lol

Great motherboard for the price but i took one star off because the IO shield has tabs on it got in the way of installation

Had a little trouble working around the BIOS, it's very user friendly, but almost "too" user friendly. If you're experienced in gaming, and overclocking, I'd go with a more advanced motherboard. 4 stars because the display ports on the board were DOA. But I don't use them so it doesn't affect me greatly.

So far this board has been rock solid. It doesn't have as much RGB as other boards, but it does have a header. Is Thunderbolt 3 upgradeable. No issues.

I'm in two minds about this thing. On the one hand, I think it looks great in the case, has just about every feature you could want and features some snazzy LEDs if that's your thing. On the other hand, I'm left questioning the build quality. One of the three screws holding the cpu cradle in place popped off when locking the cpu in. The thread was completely gone so it wouldn't screw back in. Fortunately this seems not to have mattered at all as everything is in working order. It also comes with an IO shield that looks and feels a bit cheap, and which has little metal tabs on it that seem to perform no other function than to get in the way when you're trying to get the board into place.
