from completed build AZEND - Ryzen ITX Master Race Build
Installed and booted with no problems on first try. Size is remarkably awe inspiring for the performance it boasts with the Ryzen platform. The 3200MHz X.M.P profile ran smoothly without a hitch on first attempt as well, so the AGESA update is definitely pre-loaded. Word of caution however, there is currently a VRM overheating issue with the board, and Gigabytes entire AM4 board lineup has issues installing the Ubuntu OS. Also, some power headers are in awkward positions, so first make sure it is compatible with your case.
Regardless, this board will get better over time, and has everything an enthusiast will ever need for another decade or so. It features the sweet spot amount of ports, ram slots, audio, WiFi, and M.2. In the box contains a very detailed manual, a black rear panel IO shield, 2 high quality SATA cables, and a very useful magnetic WiFi antenna.

BIOS are finnicky, and RGB Fusion is a pain to figure out. Other than that, this board supports overclocking, and has RGB. Very good value.

This motherboard is a good board. But it shouldn't go with this case. The layout of the power pins and connectors is very poor, hence the reason why I have cables everywhere. But it has an M.2 slot, wifi and some LEDs to play with, so it's not too bad overall.

from completed build Yes, the Strix 1080 Ti fits: Downsizing Ryzen to a Plastidipped NCase!
I knew of the horror stories surrounding this board's VRM temps and I went with it anyway because the cooler clearance on this thing is legendary. Due to the AM4 bracket shape and the power cable in the corner my Dark Rock TF only fits on one way, and there is less than a mm of space between the lower heatpipes and the RAM. I could have even gotten taller RAM (such as Samsung B-die, darn). The top fan of the TF is actually zip-tied to the side bracket for a cleaner shot at the VRM heatsinks and controlled by the VRM temp; dropped VRM temps by 10 degrees, but still hitting ~110 under Prime95.

This was the only AM4 mITX board available in our country. However I did my research on the other boards so here's why it's 4/5.
- USBEEEEEEEEEEE (like 8 on the I/O alone)
- straightforward BIOS settings
- it just, works haha
- RGB. It's only on one side of the board though.
- no optical audio out. this might be preferential, but I've had 3 motherboards in the past 3 years, and they all had optical audio.
- this board is known to have VRM temp problems. however I do not OC so I doubt I'll ever encounter those said problems.
- no USB Type-C
- (preferential) hate the antenna style
- Gigabyte's 3rd-party tools are mediocre at best.

from completed build AMD "GameCube" (Budget Ryzen 3 update)
There's a lottery to be had with this motherboard: its BIOS. Some people have an older BIOS that's incompatible with Ryzen. Fortunately, mine came with the F10 BIOS that introduced Ryzen 3 2200G compatibility.
This tiny terror includes 2 RGBW headers, RGB lighting on the motherboard, dual channel DDR4 memory, 2x Gen 2 USB 3.1 Type-A ports, 4x Gen 1 USB 3.1 Type-A, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a P/S2 port, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, ALC1220/RealTek GbE LAN, M.2 Intel Dual Band 802.11ac WiFi+BT Module (3165) with antenna, M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 3 x4 2280 connector, 4 SATA 3 ports, SATA RAID (0,1,10), 2 hybrid fan headers, 2/4/5.1/7.1 channel HD audio support, front panel headers, USB 2.0 header, USB 3.0/3.1 header, and a single PCIe x16 slot. Talk about packing a lot of features into this tiny board. That alone has raised my expectations on larger motherboards.
You get 2 SATA cables, the WiFi antenna, and 2 installation CDs: a drivers and BIOS CD with the other being the Intel WiFi+BT drivers CD. Installation is fairly straightforward. SmartFan5 helps keep an eye on temps and you can customize your fan settings (CPU and System 1).
The limit of 2 fan headers and the BIOS lottery are two reasons I didn't rate this motherboard 5 stars. However, this baby could handle quite a good deal while gaming, so I highly recommend this for Mini ITX builds that pack a punch on a budget.
Using the Gigabyte Radeon RX 560 4GB OC (rev 2.0) on this motherboard worked with little issues. This card doesn't use any connections to the PSU, so all its power is drawn from the PCIe slot. This motherboard performs admirably with the card; it helps that they're both GIGABYTE products.

AM4 and mini-itx, well, there isn't that much choice... Biostar, ASRock, and Gigabyte. I picked Gigabyte.
- AM4 Mini-ITX MOBO
- Nice BIOS (apparently Biostar's is difficult)
- No USB-C
- Still no USB-C

This motherboard is great and works well with my ram. The wifi is really fast, I mean, 10 ping??? Anyway, the reason for the one star off is because there are only 2 fan headers, and the fact that I can't control the fans or the rgb ram. It does, however come with an rgb strip on the bottom which is easily controlled through the bios. It also has ultra fast boot which makes me be able to boot in about 3 seconds every time.
