I'm left-handed, but I eventually grew tired of using lackluster ambidextrous or overpriced left-handed gaming mice and having to program and learn custom key binds every time I got a new game. Since I didn't want to use a controller (outside of racing games), I decided to bite the bullet and learn to game right-handed on mouse and keyboard. After a ton of research and reading of reviews, along with my pleasant experiences with their other products, I knew I wanted a Logitech mouse. But which one? I'm on a fairly tight budget and I need something comfortable, customizable, and with enough buttons to be able to use in both FPS's, RPG's, and MMO's.

Luckily a friend of mine has a G502 Hero and let me borrow it for a week. I fell instantly in love with it. The size and shape fits my hand perfectly, all of the additional buttons are easy to reach, the 2-mod scroll wheel has just the right amount of weight and resistance, and the RGB lighting is subtle, but effective when I need to find my mouse at a glance in the dark. The customizable weights are a great touch and once again, I love the G Hub software.

I was so sad to give my friend his mouse back that I immediately added the G502 Hero to my Honey droplist and snagged it up as soon as it hit an all-time low sale price a few weeks later.

Price and performance both great. I just thought G903 is too expensive and with that double-clicking problem. So I got this for $50. It's a bargain.

The G502 mouse is well reviewed and well loved - and I found a decent sale - so I have no complaints.

Maybe I cannot deeply appreciate the real value of all the features this mouse has to offer - several additional buttons, Hero sensor, customizable weights etc. - not being a pro gamer, anyway even with my very basic use as a long time amateur gamer I can surely confirm this is an excellent device: super-accurate, perfectly sized for my hands and always comfortable - I'm finger grip styled - even after several hours of use, excellent build quality and very long cable allowing all kind of movements without any difficulty.

I love this mouse but I have two issues with it. The DPI switches are not backlit and because of their placement, I often press them accidentally which often causes me to get killed in games. Otherwise this mouse is very solid and well worth the cost. Even Logitech's software is a pleasure to use when comparing to something like NZXT CAM, Asus Aura, etc.

The best it gets if you're okay with heavier mice.

This mouse is so good, it can write its own review. I upgraded from a G402 and have a G602 for work, so I am pretty set on my Logitech mice. I already knew it would only sync with other Logitech products but I wanted a quality mouse over RGB lighting sync.

This would make a wonderful gift.

high DPI, wired, "palm grip" (my hands are so large that it ends up being claw grip pretty often). the G602 wireless is larger.
