I actually love these speakers. They are incredibly good for the price. Obviously if you work with music these probably wouldn't suit your needs but for the everyday gamer/ PC user and spotify user these are superb.

great budget speakers if you already have nice headphones but want speakers for your setup just in case you have friends over

Old school, simple and punchy. When you're in headphones most of the time then having a simple fallback is always handy.

Unfortunately I don't have space to bring these two wonderful ladies with my in my new home, 'cause I'm taking with me 2 big-fat-KRK monitors.

I love this 2.0 system so much, it has a balanced sound and basses are great, so you don't need to place a stupid large subwoofer (2.1 systems) around your desk.

Pretty underwhelmed by the sound quality, to be frank. I own pretty good earpieces, so probably too used to that. The bass is pretty muddy, so if you listen to bass heavy music, don't expect much.

They're good enough. I have a 5.1 system for my consoles, so this isn't as good as that obviously, but still miles better from the speakers on my retiring laptop. Happy with the purchase as they also look wicked.

Beautiful sound quality. I got mine for $80 two years back and they're as good as new still.

Update Oct 2019: Going on a little over three years with these bad boys and I still love them. I'd HIGHLY recommend a pair. Might seem crazy due to the price, but I am very picky about audio quality and find myself nothing but completely satisfied by these. If you're a bass head, the bass is fairly decent at full crank, although it's not going to match a sound bar or an actual subwoofer (which should be obvious considering they're pretty small speakers). There aren't any pre-amp outs on these, but I'm sure you could figure out a workaround... if you so desired.

Pro tip (since I didn't mention this in my original review): there is a black mesh cover that comes with these speakers if you're not into the yellow. That makes them a whole lot more enjoyable for me, personally, as my setup is mainly black.

Great sound quality. The bass is very impressive for no subwoofer.
