from completed build IA (Freak Box for a Friend)

It has 7.1 speaker support, 116dB SNR, ASIO 2.0 support, and an optional low-profile bracket. The only real detractions are that it doesn't have a headphone amp and requires an outdated floppy power connector.

Drivers and software work fine in Windows 10.

The sound of this card is PHENOMENAL. My only gripe is the pesky floppy power connector. When I switched to the Sennheiser HD598s, the sound quality improved even further. I absolutely can't go back to "normal" on-board audio.

The sound is great, nowadays motherboards have better onboard audio but this one still rocks.

from completed build TDC (Tantalus Drive Core) V3

The sound of this card is PHENOMENAL. My only gripe is the pesky floppy power connector. When I switched to the Sennheiser HD598s, the sound quality improved even further. I absolutely can't go back to "normal" on-board audio. It can't be used to power high impedance headphones like the Sennheiser HD 6XX without investing in a dedicated amplifier. I took a star off because of the TERRIBLE floppy power connector. I would even prefer molex power to this thing
