Its seasonic, everyone know how good they are.
I don't plan on adding an extra gpu (at least for now, my needs are met) I read many reviews and found this one at jonnyguru. The 24pin cable is a bit stiff. Fan is silent. The modular cables are flat/ribbon style. Would be nice if the cables all looked the same.
Unfortunately its broken after 1 year, sometimes the voltage coming from green wire of 24pin connector are 3V. I was promptly answered by RMA / Support Team Seasonic to start the process but I didn't because of shipping costs and afraid of customs taxes.
Really solid PSU. Only issue I've had with it is that the 8pin Motherboard cord was kind of short, but it reached. The included plugs were wonderful and fit everything I needed.
I took away one star as I felt the cpu cable should really be 5cm longer. If I wanted to have the fan facing up in my case, the cpu cable would not of been long enough to route behind the motherboard. Apart from that it works and its pretty much silent. Also, this was mostly my fault for not double checking but the power cable that they deliver to Australia has the American power socket and the cord is really short.
Amazing power Supply!
SeaSonic is just a really good company!
Semi Modular power supplies are just sooo handy!
They just gave enough cable's. I didn't have to buy any extra's.
Cable ties!! Yay
It started making rattling noises three weeks after purchase. I have to punch it to make them stop.
Cables are meh.
Overall I wish I went with an EVGA G2
Got the OEM version of this which was not modular or labeled. Does the job but difficult for noob builders like me.
Got this as a used component, but do not underestimate Seasonic as a one-time use PSU. Most PSUs out there were just rebrands from Seasonic OEM PSUs, Corsair to name one (until they broke off and moved to Channel Well). I got this for ~$52 realizing it is a semi-modular and 80+ Gold. I felt I won a PSU lottery with that budget
Cables too long (sata, ...)
