Only been using this a few days, but so far so good. It's tiny and quiet.

I have noticed some coil whine on the graphics card that I don't think was present when using my previous PSU (Corsair RM450). But it's not too bad.

I don't like the bundled cables much for a small form factor build. They are ribbon cables, but quite stiff and with a messy pinout on the ATX cable that makes it hard to cable manage. And although they are shorter than the cables usually supplied with an ATX PSU, they're still way too long for my build.

Corsair sell a "short" braided cable kit for this PSU, but it's only slightly shorter than the standard cables. Would be good if they had an even shorter option.

I'm going to have a go at building my own custom cables instead.

Modular, black flat cables, good reputation.

The Corsair SF series are still the best SFX power supplies on the market. The SF450 is 80+ Gold certified and just barely misses Platinum. The fan never kicks on in my system. I have to take off a star for two small issues though: first, the stiff and bulky ribbon cables that everyone complains about. This is a significant issue for a power supply made for the small form-factor market. And second, my SF450 exhibits some mild coil whine. It's not a big deal for me and it's barely audible, but something to keep in mind.

My build is rated 298 watts so which is around 66% load for this PSU. No overclocking for me but you might want to get higher wattage if you plan to do so. Wires are covered in black plastic which is ok but would preferred the sleeved cables.

Silent also on load! Nice short flat cables.

This is a solid SFX power supply. Fanless under low load (though I think this is actually governed by temperature) and even when the fan does kick in it is very quiet. The voltages produced by this are very accurate too. I would not recommend purchasing this now however as there is a newer 80 Plus Platinum version of this which includes nicer cables as well as an SFX to ATX adaptor (which this version does not include).

The only complaint I have is that the SATA cable is kind of short. Other than that, it's nice and quiet.

8 NAS HDDs, 2 SSD and low power Core i5 4th Gen and the fan is still not spinning. I'm impressed

7 year warranty, almost never spins up, quality packaging. Corsair have done a great job with this PSU, you will not be disappointed! The only complaint I would make if I had to make one is that there isn't enough of a variety of cables included. For example I expected to see 2-3 variations of SATA cables (1 end, 2 ends, 4-5 ends, etc). However considering this is an SFX power supply, it's understandable that they wouldn't include too many extras.

Small, powerful and high end. Great packaging, nice build quality and I like the fact that the fan rarely even spins up!
