This GTX 1050 is a placeholder for a higher tier card when prices go down. However, if you play less graphics extensive games, it shouldn't be a problem. For example, I can max out Rocket League with a consistent 110+ FPS. It would be cool if this card had a backplate, but its fine as most backplates don't help cooling and are only for aesthetics.

Ran cool under load (55-60 C) and performed well in mid-tier games like MGS5 and StarCraft II. Great buy!

good entry level gaming card. was able to OC with after burner to +240MHZ on core speed and +400MHZ on memory speed.

Great video card for the price. Even overclocked it a bit with MSI Afterburner, but don't overclock too much because it will start to crash.
