This was one of the hardest choices and I'm glad I made the choice I did. I was choosing between this, the 580, a 2060, and a 1070. This is the best way to go if you just want to play 1080p 60+ and you want good support for OpenGL and good power draw as well as having a good price to performance ratio. (If you can find a 6gb card under 200 bucks). If you want to play games at higher resolutions, get one of the cards I specified above. If you want better Vulkan performance than the 1060 at the cost of more power draw, than get a 580 and you'll still have a equally amazing experience.

Great card for my VR games running on an Acer WMR headset. Played Onward, Pavlov, Project CARS 2. You will want to up the sampling in SteamVR to clear the image. Would recommend.

It's a low/mid end 10 series Nvidia card, the only reason to get this is if your getting a great deal on it and you need a video card reasonably soon, otherwise I'd wait for a deal on a 5700xt or a higher end 20 series card.

I know very little about GPUs coming from a laptop with Integrated Graphics but this GPU does what it suppose to do and performs how I've been reading. Runs my games pretty darn smooth I'm loving it!

For the Zotac GeForce GTX 1060's performance, I was surprised on the price, I am able to hook up my HDMI 60hz ultra wide monitor to it, while still having my 144hz plugged in with a DisplayPort Cable to it as well. I can run games at a solid FPS while still doing other tasks and I am very glad I bought this part. Works like a charm.

Great card for the price! Less expensive than most other 1060s, but still performs great.

Since I am a first time builder I do not have a lot of opinions or bias on graphics cards. This one was recommended to me and it has accomplished everything I have wanted to do. I most play online games (Apex/Fornite) and use stock market trading platforms. I achieve around 60 FPS, temps are ranging from 34-60 degrees C when load is around 15-80% respectively running different programs.
