from completed build First Build budget gaming PC
Only 3gb VRAM is definitely not a lot, but if this is what you can get during these hard times, it's still okay. I got this used for like 160 Euros. Looks cool, is cool. I'm playing Doom Eternal on Medium, I'll be playing NFS Heat later on. I'll upgrade it once better prices and more gpus are available
from completed build My First PC Build (1300 USD)
I got this on EBay for like $200, I was looking for a 2060 but couldn't find one. However, this CPU works fine on all of the games I throw at it on high settings. My only complaint is that there is no backplate. (4/5 stars)
from completed build Rainbow Snow (1080p 60fps, game machine upradable)
-
These are 2-3 years old now. Bought it on eBay for $130 (including shipping).
-
More than fast enough for 1080p 60 fps ultra gaming. Current monitor is 60hz, any fps past 60 is wasted.
-
Quiet.
-
Beautiful with white case.
-
This is the 3gb version runs 60-70 on overwatch.
-
I have the 6gb version with 4970 (locked) on h97 MB runs about 70-90 fps on overwatch.
-
Figure I’d get 10 more fps with a 6gb gtx 1060, price point wasn’t good when looking at eBay. Also getting new one in a year.
from completed build First PC Build (Snow Cougar)
Can't say I'm 100% satisfied with this card in 2020. Runs at 100% usage at some of the games I throw at it when my CPU (ryzen 5 3600) runs at only 40% or so. However, for being a 4 year old card and being very inexpensive on ebay nowadays, can't say I'm disappointed.
from completed build GOOD BOY PC - was expensive but worth it.
i mean, doesnt have a backplate. Looks horrible from the side window. // Not led at all. // Ok cooling system. // Asus gpu tweak gives me a "ok" OC. I really dont like the 3 GB VRAM situation honestly.. but, was the option i took. so, yeah... not that great for 1440p gaming. Yes. i was using this with a Ryzen5 1400, 16gb of ram since 2017...and i pair this pc with a 1440p 144hz monitor. not a smart choice.
from completed build Laptop died and could not justify price of new laptops vs. what you get...
Found a deal for 150$ brand new. Was worth it when I got it but 1650 and 1650S might be better choice nowadays.
from completed build Family HTPC/Game Box
If you can get it for a good price, it's a good card. Way better than the 1050 TI and the white shroud is pretty slick. Would have been nice if a back plate was included.
from completed build Sharkbox (black white RGB)
Could be better for the price but definitely worth getting in a pinch large difference between 1050 and 1060
from completed build Upgrade for a gaming/editing rig
Plays most games at max settings in 1080p. Everything I need for now and a long time.
from completed build My first pc (gaming and streaming) $1800
i was originally going to get the strix rgb and when i cheaped out to get the 3gb 1060 instead of the 6gb i didnt know what 1060 i was getting and it was a pleasant surprise it looks nice it preforms well though i dont own the prefomance demanding games to test it so i cant give you its can and cant do
