quiet, powerful and in updated colors for the typical Noctuas of the past. These fas are pricey- but you get what you pay for. Quality build and they have a distinctive quality unmatched by competitors. Excellent case fans for water-cooled radiator configs.
Bought to replace the standard exhaust fan that came in my case. Can instantly feel a stronger draught coming out the back of the PC, and no noticeable increase in noise. Decided to go for this over the 3000 RPM model, as some said that can be too noisy at full speed. When I use Asus Fan Xpert to go into turbo mode, there is a veritable gale blowing out of the back of the PC. As always, the quality is top drawer, and the colour scheme blends in a little better with the rest of the build.
Noctua remains the king of case fans and these are no exception to that rule. Easy to install, very quiet, and provide plenty of cool air for the 480 to suck in.
I've got 7 of these in my h440 and 4 of them is on the radiator as push/pull .
Can a Noctua fan get any better? I guess it can. This is just as awesome as their standard fans, but it is dust and water resistant, it goes up to 2000 RPM for higher cooling (vs 1200-1500 RPM max for standard fans), and to some it may be more aesthetically pleasing since it is all black without the vibration dampeners.
I keep mine idling at 1200 RPM, but I know it can go as low as 1080 RPM. I am not sure if it can go any lower, so if you want to be super stealthy then this fan is not for you. Otherwise, if noise is not an issue but you want maximum cooling, then this is the best 120mm fan to get imo.
This is a bit more efficient than the IPPC-3000 in terms of noise:airflow ratio, and I don't believe I will ever use 2000 RPM to ever need 3000 RPM (or any average user). 2000 RPM sounds like a 80mm fan lol. According to the charts at uk.hardware.info, it is the best 120mm 2000 RPM fan in terms of air flow.
These are really good quality fan, but they come at a price. Just wish they didn't use ugly colours for there non-industrialPPC series.
Great static pressure fan for water cooler radiators. Essentially silent at least up until 50%, which is where my fan curve maxes out.
Power fan. Cools stuff. Great color. Love it.
